hello ok i am just wondering if having two bunnies or more is what makes litter training harder. i mean is a lone bunny easier and quicker to train or is it really just down to their personality.  also anyone have any clues on why they choose certain areas as toilets when they not always in the corner.    today peppa lies down for ages and after she gets up and goes there is a large scattering of poops xx her and georgie are not long spayed how long before litter box habbits improve xxx

Is it just poops or is it pee and poop?

Are you putting hay in their litter box?

Also is it just a few poops or alot of poops? Do they poop in their litter box at all?

Yes lots of hay and yes lots of poops in tray too. I think it is territorial just wodnering when it might stop xx Have ordered extension to their cage so they can spend more time in it rather than out in room as they may have a little too much space in the whole living room just yet. xx

Oh also i know they are very good at being trained in other ways as have trained them to come to me when i rattle baby rattle and i give them a raisin for coming and at same time call their name so they seem to come if you rattle and call their names. So they are clever enough and ready to learn which is what makes me think it is territorial, along with the fact that litter boxes very much full, they just adding some in other places too. I suppose i am expecting too much prob about less than ten poops between them in 2 hours.. But just wondering if that will still decrease when hormones wear off as it is only couple weeks since spay xx

Doesn’t really matter on the mixture-as long as it’s dry and wiped up afterwards. I do about 50/50 Just hang in there for a few more weeks for the horomones to settle-then we’ll get drastic with litter training
