I got a phone call from one of the carers asking me to open the door so she could bring some food in for me, I opened the door and sat down again, my legs were hurting, the carer walked in and straight to the living room, Olly was very very angry and growled and rattled his playpen bars growled again and gave her a look as if to say. ‘Knock first.’
He’s been such a good boy, he lets me know when the carers are knocking on the door, he comes and says his little hello to them, he does not settle until they have logged in with the card and their mobile phone, as soon as the carers phone says ‘Logging in’ he goes into his cardboard box, then when he hears the phone say. ‘Logging out’ He comes out again to play.
But Easter Sunday we had an awful carer come round and he was growling because she was being rough with me saying she was in a hurry and had to get home quickly for Easter dinner, she was forcing my arm into a jumper, I have Arthritis really bad in my shoulder and she was hurting me, Olly growled and stamped his foot at her, he was looking at me and then I noticed he was looking at my phone, I thought ‘Good idea Olly we will phone the manager’ which we did when she left, on her way out she stamped her foot at Olly, on Monday they made a mistake and sent the bad carer round by accident, Olly must have recognised her voice or something and started banging, I told her she wasn’t coming in and they had to send someone else, Olly did not stop banging until her car had gone, I’m glad he did this because I had a migraine at the time and was very confused and I was thinking ‘I’m sure I know her.’ so he’s my little Security Bunny Rabbit and when I get sorted out I’ll get CCTV and he can have his own little monitor next to his playpen
