AUGH! The beautiful willow tent I bought from BB.com for the playpen just about a month ago…Pip was trying to get past it while my daughter was sitting with the bunnies. Mimzy was hiding behind my daughter and obviously Pip wanted to get to where he was. The tent was blocking her way, so she began chewing the end of it to make a hole big enough to fit through. Now all the supports on that side are all coming off and I can see this poor thing is on it’s way to being trashed…because once Pip finds that something is edible, it is NOT SAFE!

*sniff* It was such a nice tent too!

I don’t suppose anyone here has any ideas as to how I might fix the tent back up? Could I use those plastic zipties to reattach the broken pieces do you think?

I use zip ties to fix bunny things all the time.  If those would help they are safe to use.

Mine have more or less destroyed their willow tent too.  One side of it has most just the ribs that hold the structure together remaining, all of the cross pieces have been chewed up.

Thanks osprey! ^^; Oh I feel so bad about it! I mean, sure they’ve nibbled at the inner areas and gnawed a little at the outside, but to take the whole support brace like that? Yikes on toast!
Well looks like I’m off to the store again! lolz…More strange bunny purchases to explain…. @_@

LOL I know what you mean. I’ve been reading posts and if people were watching hubby and I they would think some of the things were off the wall. We now buy lots of greens. Mostly for bunny. We have bought some wood and basket stuff for projects for hay holders. I was just talking to my husband about how Holly’s living arrangements keep changing. Pretty soon my bunny will have the whole living room not just part of it. Being a bunny owner is quite an adventure!

If they weren’t meant for da buns ta chew, it wouldn’t be made of willow. Part of the fun for the buns is the destruction of it.

I don’t think anything can be tied down, if a bunny wants it a bunny will get it. 🙂

Yeah I agree with Markusdark. That’s half the fun! At least it’s not your couch legs!
