Wow…this is alot of posts from me tonight,

Anyway…Tucker is not neutered yet, we will be getting it done ASAP but that looks to be about June/July because we just had to put a new motor in our car   He hadn’t been showing any signs of aggression yet and he’s about 6 mos so I was hoping we’d be good to go until about then.

Then just now Tucker ran up to his loft grabbed his stuffed Eeyore bit him in the ear and humped him!!!      I’m worried that maybe Tucker is going to get more aggressive with this as a first sign??  Or is this maybe normal and maybe he’s just trying to “bond” with his friend Eeyore???  Eeyore didn’t seem to mind if that’s any consolation LOL

Sure is! But post away all you like! It sounds like Tucker is asserting his dominance and is “feeling his hormones” just be thankful he has a stuffed animal to divert him from other *ahem* more inappropriate items/appendages/slippers etc. I think you will be O.K., just be sure to give him lots of distraction with toys think to rip and chew etc.. It is good he has a confined space in which to run, it will make it a bit easier on everyone.

aw i love eeyore he is my fav disney character! he is very cute, i think it is probably because of hormones but the neuther will sort it mainly so the sooner you can afford it (we all know how expensive it can be!) the better, its nothing to worry about though, he isnt going to be standing over your bed when you wake in a cold swear one night hehe its just his hormones acting out and he is just trying to prove he is better then eeyore, make sure he has toys and distractions and he will be fine!

              Eeyore will be fine, lol!

Brownie has a friend too, a stuffed bunny he got for Easter, and it has gotten quite the work out. It actually got to be a bit of an obsession….and the stuffed rabbit went along with his to teh vets when he was neutereda fewweeks ago. He snuggled right up to it after he woke up from surgery. Once his hormones started to die down, there was a gradual decline in the humping, and he doesn’t do it at all now, but he still loves his friend!

So, yes, expect that poor eeyore will get a workout too!

Well luckily Eeyore doesn’t seem to mind LOL.  He really seems to love his Eeyore, he even sleeps with him at night, so sweet

lol! yes, that’s absolutely normal with an unaltered boy! keep an eye on Eeyore. give him a quick look-over once a day to make sure he is not able to rip off the eyes and he’s not pulling out stuffing and eating it. the humping should decrease after he’s altered.

Well apparently Eeyore did something to upset Tucker because he was thrown off the loft and into the hay basket….maybe Tucker thought he was hungry?  LOL

Did he leave a couple of carrots on the night stand next to the bed first?

Okey, that was bad but I can’t help thinking he’s saying, “Okey, I’m bored with this chick.  Where’s the does at?”

Well, if it helps, I will tell you this…the Dane County Humane society (where Eeyore is) is great. They contract out with Mounds Pet Food Warehouse for most of the buns to be on display for adoption. Mounds is wonderful. They have a bunny ROOM, where they all have huge habitats, and all have Xpens. Even the cats Mounds displays from the humane society have a whole room…like the size of my living room. They all have hay, toys, etc…so it really is a great situation as far as a shelter bun goes. I’m on the lookout for a girl, or I’d be going to check him out too!

Aw that sounds SO great! A bunny room just for ogling the prospective adoptees! ^_^ Sadly, I am in Alaska and, besides really having my hands full with my two bunnies plus the two dogs, three cats, goldfish and two teenagers…well…I couldn’t have him anyway, but I can dream! ^_^
I also wish I could adopt little Benny from the Rescue Bunnies forum, but even if he were in good health, I just couldn’t’ imagine subjecting a bunny to a long flight to the far north! But I’ll send lots of adoption vibes for little Eeyore to get a wonderful forever home!

And back to the thread topic…lolz…how is Tucker doing? Has he warmed back up to his plushie Eeyore?
