I decided to make a rug for our dining room – I’m painting a large canvas floor cover.

But, this means I had to make the dining room off limits to the Buns.

To make up for this major inconvenience I have projected upon Kay & Winston,   I moved some of the yucky rugs from the dining room to the kitchen – so, they still have plenty of running around room.

While they were not thrilled with everything being moved around – they were very excited to explore the changes. They spent the whole morning and well into the afternoon – this is typically nap time – rediscovering the Kitchen and the “condo” I made for them a while back.

I keep catching them at the edge of the rug in the kitchen peering down the tiled hall to the bedroom – it’s about 8 feet from rug to rug. “Maybe tomorrow.” they seem to be thinking.

I have also placed some towels under the Papasan chairs for them since it is getting colder – I think they like them.

I hang out suspiciously at the back of our local supermarket & snap up their boxes but I’m always too crap at designing things to be able to make my stuf work. My bf was an engineer major so you’d think he’d be better but he’s actually worse! Lucky for us he’s not working as an engineer otherwise there would be civilian casualties.

Ahahahha those are cute pictures!! I love them peaking out of the cardboard box…

A while ago I made a cardboard condo for the buns…according to Dave, he came home and there ‘was cardboard peices and scraps and duct tape and zip ties all over the whole house and I was taking a nap’ LOL so true, I did make a huge mess and it was such an eye sore for poor dave I’m not allowed to make them anymore!

They still have not made it to the bedroom yet – but they keep looking!

They both spent all day yesterday on the second floor of the “condo”.

To make the “condo” I had to shove a box inside the Ridgid box, then cut the holes out, so they would match up. Then I glued the other box to the side of it. I duck taped the washcloths to the floor to give the buns some traction when they jump up there. There were washcloth’s duct taped to the first floor too, but the buns quickly ripped those up.

Buns have been happily altering the doors and windows to suit their needs.

He, he, he, papadum is an Indian flat bread made from lentils or chick peas. Yum!
