I came home last nite and Cotton had a red nose.  Ruby let him have it poor guy.  IT is a surface nip.  I am trying to find my neosporin.  I have searched everywhere.  It isn’t in the rabbit supply drawer. I think the house ate it or something.

I have triamcinolone acetonide cream.  I can’t remember if this is like the generic for neosporin. Shoot.   I do have the iodine povidone that doesn’t stain.  I think that is what it is called.  I do know it is for rabbits cause I wrote it down after reading this site and got a supply of it.

I am going to have to wrap Boo in a towel and wash his nose with it til I find out more about this triamcinolone cream.  Or just run out and get some neosporin for my baby.

Strange when they have a tiff by the time I get home they are buddy buddy again. Go figure.

I will post the rest on behavior to discuss the behavior issue.

I checked medirabbit  and dosage calculator sites.  No mention of the cream that I have.  I looked it up and it is some cortizone stuff.  I looked up neosporin and none of the ingredients match.

I am going to run down and just buy a tube of neosporin.

My bank acct is bounced so I am using laundry $ for this. Hey whatever works right?

I searched the whole house for the neosporin. I think the walls ate it or something.

bunnytowne – I would not use that cream on a nose injury.  It is a cream that contains synthetic steroids for contact dermatitis like redness, rashes and hives.

Here is a good web site to use for this type of information (I know it is for humans, but it will give you the general idea of what it is for, then you can search further on the symptom on a bunny-savvy sight or better yet, call your vet).
