Oh Dennis, you really are a menace!

During a small session in the bedroom, things started getting a little heated. I was sitting on the bed and had the squirt bottle. I squirted Dennis and it was not the reaction I expected at all!!!!!!!! He ATTACKED the squirt!  This little 3 pound bunny made the leap of his life at my face (since I was the one who squirted him), and I mean a good 3-4 foot leap off the ground, landing on the bed. I put my hands up and Dennis latched onto my thumb, his whole mouth was around it. I let out this blood curdling scream, it was embarassing but in the heat of the moment is was terrifying! Hubby keeps laughing about it, so embarassing! It was all I could do at the time! So here I am swinging (well not really swinging) this little bunny around who will NOT let go of my finger!  He displayed this more than once. I tried to poke him during a session to snap him out of it, and he turned on me! Now we have learned that we will have to trick him during bonding or else he will attack whatever is ‘attacking’ him. Dennis is a ferocious little guy !

 

Looks are deceiving! Don’t be fooled by the cuteness!

Oh wow! I would’ve screamed too. Then I would have cried lol. I’m glad my bun doesn’t do that when I squirt him!

You know, he does look like he has some serious attitude going on in his pics. LOL My friend brought her bun over to my place and Eddie went postal. We were both screaming. lol No one got hurt though but it is a bit terrifying when they turn into little kung fu monsters all of a sudden. hehe Like you don’t realize how they are until you actually witness it. lol

But he is sooo beautiful! I would have screamed too, and I’m somewhat used to being nailed by Lola.

Haha it totally suits him! It is perfect! He is the only one of the bunnies that when he has had enough he will nip. Dexter licks, the other two just panic. It was like the whole thing was in slow motion when it happened!

oh how scary! I tell you, a mini rex is a whole different rabbit… the cigarette looks just natural on him.. cool bun.

I learned never to attempt a bonding session barefoot.  I got bit on my big toe and wow, did that hurt since the skin is not soft and it took a lot of force to draw blood.  I won’t make that mistake again!  The bunnies got in a scuffle, I moved to separate them and “wham”- got it in the toe and I was the only one bleeding from the scuffle.

I will not squirt him again without a towel or blanket covering my lap and something on my hands. Just today he was sitting on the bed, I came up and sat on the floor to pet him, I guess I moves the wrong way and he made a little grunt and lunge towards my nose! I thought he was going to chomp it! I do not trust this little rex bunny!

Ouch! Feet bites are always painful! You know that your bunnies are in control when they are relaxed and you are bleeding…
