At first I thought she was just grooming her dewlap, but then I noticed she wasn’t do that but shook her head after, maybe something is in her ear? Does she seem like she is having any trouble breathing when she does this or is it just a head bob up and down? How often does she does she do this? If it continues I would make an appointment with your vet to double check there isn’t something serious developing.

This video was the second time I had ever seen it. She did it once before I got the camera out and the she was laying down flopped next to it and did it laying down afterwards. I dont notice anything breathing wise, her breathing is a little louder than his, but I know that when I took her to the vet last month that she got all worked up and snorted when she was breathing. It was just really strange, me and my husband were sitting on the couch talking about her and I looked over and she was doing that?!

She may be head pointing…(?) Head pointing can indicate a respiratory infection. Has she been making odd breathing noises, sneezing, any mucus, eye discharge?

She has been ok, sometimes her nose squeaks a little, but not bad sounding, and last time I took her to the vet she snorted when she got all worked up. She has had a couple eye goopies in the mornings and I have to clean them out.

Little eye-crusties are normal and some bunnies can be snorters, but I would just keep an eye on that behavior just in case it could be something respiratory related. Has her nose always occasionally squeaked or is this something that has recently developed?

Some bunnies do have a squeak snore while at rest, and do snort – but it would be part of their normal behavior if that is how they are made up, but again if it’s something that is relatively new then that would be a different story.

She has always been kind of whistley hehe I am gonna keep and eye on her this week and see how she is, if she gets worse I will take her in but if I can wait till payday just in case its not a regular visit thats even better. She has been acting better today and last night, playing with her phonebook!

                        I think that’s a good plan.
I actually thought it was familiar and had seen my former bunny, Spockie, do that sometimes. It never resulted in anything that was a problem.
A good indicator is whether something goes away or worsens. Keeping an eye on it for any new changes, or additional signs of possible problems may mean a vet visit is necessary in the next few days. Keep us posted.

It looked like dewlap grooming to me too but I couldn’t see that well to see if that was what was going on or not. Do keep an eye on her to see if she does anything else odd in that same kind of manner, like twitching constantly or getting dizzy and rolling around because that is quite serious. That incident on its own doesn’t set off any serious alarm bells for me, but like rabbitpam said, just keep and eye on her to see if it seems to be getting worse, or if anything else out of the normal starts to happen.
