Frankie’s watching the X-factor !!!
(Well actually he is not, he’s given Alesha the bunny butt and is chatting to his aeroplaned-eared buddy !! All these homes with landing pads for bunnies to jump up on…! Sideboard, TV, shelves, radiators….!!
Do they not jump, the bunnies?!
That’s the FIRST thing that Henry would do, I am sure of it !!!
He would be up on the tele cabinet, up on radiator and up on CDs saying hi to teddy

I’m with you on that one. The words “This is why we cant have nice things” pass my lips so many times in a day it’s not funny.
Sampras get’s into the worst places, and frequently hurts himself. We are plagued trying to bunny proof, but Yumi and him can jump over five foot if they feel inclined to do so.
They started getting up on the window ledges at home recently. Heart failure.Is it wrong that I want to paint the mask orange/yellow(i wont actually) and turn my bunny into a duck for a few minutes everyday?

Oh man don’t get me started! Patton gets EVERYWHERE. We quickly learned to keep chairs pushed in and dangerous things off the tables.
Well, at least I learned.
It’s gotten so bad at times that my wife will be sitting at the dining table using her computer and he will just jump right into her lap. Cute, right? No, he‘s just on his way to the table top!

WOW Vienna! What a couple of pictures! Actually kind of artsy.
Patton continues to make himself at home. I was doing baths yesterday for the kids and he came in which is cute (he loves to hang out in the upstairs bathroom!) but then he decides to go and plop down right where I need to stand for the baths (he almost never lays there!).
He got splashed, he got wet, I got out of the way.
He didn’t seem to care enough to get up. OR this was a game of chicken? I guess it’s Patton’s world and we just live in it.

@bam. Well they are small, so each will have prob 4 or 5 a day…. So no, not long!! LOL
The salads are small too. There are 5, so half each a day quarter morning and evening…

Vienna, we have that little rabbit from IKEA too – I couldn’t help myself when I saw it. We named her Rosie then she was savagely humped by Theo
poor Rosie. Bam, that is too cute with the ribbon – Theo would have it shaken off in 10 seconds flat!!

Theo, sth has happened with Bam after the loss of Yohio. He’d never have let me sit there and tie a bow around his ear before. And then just keep it on like it was nothing. (I removed it as soon as I’d taken the pic of course. But still.)

I love his huge mustache. He was just “checking” my embroidery yarn chart, so I quickly snapped this pic. In Dutch we have a saying “Dat zit wel snor!”, it literally translates as: “That’s all mustache!”, and what it means is: “No worries there, that will go just fine.”. I guess my embroidery chart is allright then, on to my next project!

But I admit, with those airplane ears in that photo, the name fits for that pose. Azerane, that is truly adorable. She really has a dwarf lop look about her. A lop-not-lop or lop-maybe-not look. Try saying that 3 times fast.

My granda passed away this week and my mom has been taking it very hard, so me and my bunnies packed up our things and have headed home for a few days to be with her.
And I’ve honestly never been more grateful to have them. Yumi is sulking(this isnt my house, and this pen is too small and is that dog really trying to LICK my ears?! And excuse me, Im a princess where is my castle, where are all my toys, where is my humans bed, why are their MEN in this house) Her indignation is a source of great amusement in the house.
But Sampras has been the little superstar. EVERYONE needs kisses, everyone needs to have the bag of treats brought to them so that they can feed him.
And all of them are amazed to see him so well(the last time they saw him he was very sick ) so the shock of seeing him as a confident boisterous creature is warming to them.
He sits in his chair and waits to awarded treats by everyone who passes by
I think Yumi is top dog in the house. But my puppy has really missed them.

My eldest is really tired, due to a change in medication, and is spending reading week at home. He’s sleeping in later than the bunnies are used to getting their fresh morning hay, and I didn’t want him woken by hay excited bunnies. When I went to start with Pippi and Jenny, around an hour later than usual, Pippi decided he wasn’t going to wait any longer….

He is named after Butters from South Park, but Bunners is a play on words that was always a part of his name. My husband deliberately made it Bunners instead of Butters. Sort of like when someone names their bun Bunjaman instead of Benjamin.
And yes, I would say that pie chart is quite accurate, but a large wedge should be BB time. Maybe the pet and cuddle rabbit wedge should be reduced? The boys don’t want to be cuddled all that much. LOL

Not quite Friends yet…..Sterling is so curious about him, though. He will sniff him whenever Kyle allows. But he still freaks out if Kyle runs into the room. Sterling is pretty skittish and nervous for a big bunny.
For those of you who live in places where there is no Fall, I’m sharing mine with you……
All these leaves cleaned up and only about 3/4 done. Unfortunately, Evi didn’t actually help with the raking. She was more into jumping into leave piles….

Nope. I share a two-bedroom apartment with him.
We’ve had a hutch in the house a few times for various foster buns, as well as a borrowed pen for the few days after his neuter so he couldn’t be too active, but otherwise, we’re just two peas in a bucket, my boy and I
EDIT: One of our fosters loved Chewie to distraction. He, unfortunately, seems to eventually fight with all buns (which is why all bonding attempts with him have ultimately failed). But I digress… this is why we don’t have bars of any kind in our house: because Chewie’s reaction to seeing hutches and fencing of any kind is always utter dejection. He sits like this for ages and ages:

Double awww, I love expressive bunnies.
Breintje also shows extreme contentment when he has had his food. He starts to loaf, fluffs up his fur, closes his eyes and starts to purr and lick his lips. We dubbed this state “tevreten” which is a lousy pun on the words “tevreden”= content and “te vreten” = to devour in an unmannered way

Mini tried the lower stairs when he first arrived, since then, he and snickers have both ignored them, til now…
Snickers gets so excited by the daily dried grass portion that she ends up scattering it everywhere, including into otherbun territory, out of her and Mini’s reach. so I’ve started putting theirs into a big casserole dish, to keep it in their space. Only thing is, Mini thinks its an ideal Mini-sized bed, super soft and ‘midnight’ snacking included thanks to its ‘mattress’ of dried grass. Somebun should really tell him this isn’t wise!
Luckily for Mini, our oven broke over a year ago and still hasn’t been replaced, so its safe enough for a bunbed here

G.J, I have a casserole dish exactly like that. (But I don’t have a bun in mine.)
Here’s Bam on my bed. Last night he jumped up when I’d turned out the lights. He’s never done that before. Today he did more exploring. He will of course start peeing in my bed if I let him have access to it, but it was really cute.
IRL his fur doesn’t look at all as bad as it does on the pic. But the camera doesn’t love Bam. It never has. IRL he’s actually a very cute bun.

I’m sure many bunny people know the struggle: introducing new toys or items to bunnies are either an instant hit or an instant miss. Well, guess I got it right, because I introduced an instant hit today. The floor gets quite chilly in winter, even with a carpet on top. I took this old shoebox and put a double layer of woolen cloth into it. It was a scrap from a warm winter costume I made for someone, the same fabric is used to make luxury winter coats.
Breintje hardly needed any coaxing to hop into this box, and he’s been it since I put it on the floor. He’s even washing himself in it now, as I’m typing this

Here’s more black bun on black blankie (bbbb). This is from minutes ago. He just bit a hole in the bedsheet. And I’m like ooooh, what a clever bun-bun you are, Bam! Because it’s so good to see him engaging in an activity other than eating that seems important to him.

Some older pics of Winnie and Licorice. These were in March, one after Winter just arrived home and another when Licorice was allowed out to explore around the new bunny’s cage.
Sorry for the crappy quality, they were off a tablet.
Anyway, Winnie settled right in then. But the first few days she wouldn’t leave bed. Drank and ate right out of it!

But has anyone ever seen a bunny that was not beautiful? Cuz I haven’t. It could be missing both ears, one eye, and be half bald and would still be beautiful to me. Speaking of beautiful bunnies, here’s another one.

Breintje in his paper digging box. We hide all his pellets and treats into this box nowadays, this keeps him active and busy. He’s been hyperexcited about food again since we put him on hay and pellets only: wolfing down all the food in one go, following you around for treats. Here’s his best begging face:

That paper digging box is a great idea! I think I’ll make one for my bun! I have a Chaos Box for the cats haha
cardboard box with shredded paper, treats, tinfoil balls, toy mice etc they love to play around in. A bunny version I think would equally be a hit! I see you’ve got paper and you said treats? What kind? Dry or leafy? I wonder what else to put in there…..
so now she can’t either.
