Drue refused his veggies this morning..but he’s eating pellets.  Does the fact that he’s eating pellets mean that he’s maybe just in a mood and doesn’t want veggies?  Drue worries me when he refuses things since he’s such an avid eater and I’ve already had a scare with him where he refused to eat ANYTHING..so he just worries me.  But I put pellets in front of him and he gobbled them up..so he IS eating..he’s just refusing his veggie buffet which is filled with things that he loves.  It has mustard greens in it too though..which he hasn’t eaten in a while..I can’t remember if he used to like it or not..maybe the smell of that being in there is making him not want any of it??  It also has collards, romaine, parsley, cilantro and a few celery leaves and a few 1 inch pieces of celery in there…which is all things that he LOVES but he won’t touch it

Well, I say give it awhile and see how it goes. It’s good he’s at least eating pellets. I do find sometimes my rabbits get in these moods too. I usually just wait and see what happens to decide if it’s a mood or an ailment.

I just went in again and he was just sitting there, and not looking like he was a happy bunny.  I gave him a little tummy massage and then I tried to pick him up..he thumped away from me and started to eat a bit of veggie, he then abandoned his leaf and ran up to the upper level and his under his shelf..this is not normal for him   I’m going to keep an eye on him but I’m getting worried..this is not normal Drue at all

He’s eating veggies now! I just went in again to check on him and I stayed in there a little bit petting him and talking to him and I enlarged their pen a little bit and was just doing some cleaning and organizing and stuff and he was hopping around a bit more then he had been this morning.  He was hopping up to the second level and checking out the new shelf I installed since I took their old shelf down here so I could use it for a office shelf hehe and then I decided to try some raisins or papaya.  He had no interest in the raisins but he ate two little pieces of dried papaya and then all of a sudden he ran to his veggie bowl and put his paws in to tip it over and started going nuts and eating all the veggies!  So he’s currently up tehre pigging out on veggies and I’ll be keeping an eye out for some nice big poops in the litter box soon!! Then I’ll know he’s doing ok
