  Since Lullabelle had surgery last, I haven’t seen her drink. I filled the bottle with fresh water 2 days ago and haven’t touched it since to monitor how much is still in it. Its still completely full and I haven’t seen her attempt to drink. I mentioned this to the vet last week and I took Lulla in for fluids. But its been almost a week since that, and she still hasn’t drank.
  
  I am making her critical care a little watery and soaking her veggies in water to help her fluid intake. I have a bowl of water sitting out incase its hard for her to use the bottle, but this is full too. She is eating normally, just not drinking. Should this be expected a week after 500ml of fluids were given? She is peeing, a lot. She’s never gone outside of her litterbox since she’s been trained but she’s peed all over her towel that she lays on.
  
  Do you think I should take her in for more fluids? What can I do to encourage her to drink?

  Call your vet! Update them and if they’re concerned take her back in. In the meantime wash the vegs well before you feed them to bump up the fluids.

  I’m by no stretch a medical expert but if she is still peeing then she is getting liquid. I do think a call to the vet is an excellent idea. I know her poor mouth has been damaged, is it sufficiently healed to make giving her water via syringe possible? Because if you are seriously concerned that won’t hurt her system. If it doesn’t hurt any healing tissue then it is something else you can do.

  Does she have a nice deep crock she can also drink from ? The bottle might be hurting her mouth still. Maybe put an ice cube in too so it is nice and cool. I have a bun that’s not much of a drinker but she has lots of moist greens and pees fine so I have not considered it a problem. However if she normally drinks a lot of water a vet visit is definitely a good idea.
  One positive possibility is that with the removal of the bad tissue from her mouth she might not feel the need to drink as much.
