  she is shedding n its fall is she suposed to shed now i figured in the summer is when she would please let me know if this is normal and its like spots at a time and LOTS!!

  Rabbits shed 4 times a year, 2 heavy molts (you’ll know it when you see it) and 2 lighter sheds. It is normal. Exact times of year and duration can vary depending on temperatures in your area. And thru informal research on this site, I also believe that bunny hormones can play a part in when it happens and for how long. Sometimes it feels like they are ALWAYS shedding b/c those 4 occurrences can blend together with a very small break in between.

  My Bun looks like a disaster right now and its raining white fur everywhere!!! I’ve never seen anything like it. You aren’t alone!

  I brushed the buns the other day when I did nails and there was little if any fur coming off either. It was nice. I know it is coming soon tho… it’s just the calm before the (fur) storm. There will be clouds in the house… one is not usually so bad, but when you have two in a full-blown shed (nevermind the people who have multiple buns!)

  Ugh, shedding! Until his first major shed, I didn’t think I would be allergic to Indy. Turns out I am! ha But I love the little guy so I keep Zyrtec around and clean like my life depends on it! So its very normal and very much annoying! I dusted a week ago, and I swear there was 1/4″ of fur on the top of my desk!!!!

  lol well thanks guys i thought i had read on here it was normal but im an over worryer when it comes to my baby so i always like a second opion ( or more ) lol so im glad to know im not alone ! thank again !

  Gizmo is starting to shed too, white dust cloud and my boyfriend is apparently allergic too.

  Gotta love the shedding!! Valen is more noticable than Bella….he has clouds of fur when you pet him!! You just get used to it!!
