I was at the Pet Store waiting for the bus today. The little bun is still there. I noticed hair longish hair had puffed out on him. I asked the mgr what kind he was. He said an angora mix. Maybe a mix not sure.  I concluded he is a satin angora cause he has poof all over his body but nothing on his head or ears.  Of course Pet stores want to call anything with hair a lionhead angora these days.

I held the little guy oh he is sooo soft. No wonder they are called Satins.  I checked he looks like a male circle as opposed to slit.

I thought well instead of me getting him I am calling my friend who wanted an angor. I talked with her Mom. But I did mention they require lots of grooming too.  To be sure she can handle that part.

Anyway yes I want an angora a real one however I said no cotton won’t tolerate another male.  I have no place to put it. And I have an obligation to the 3 buns I have right now.  Their welfare comes first.

The bus showed up FINALLY  and I went on my way.

i know BT. it’s so hard to see them in the stores and know that they might or might not get a great home… but you can’t save ’em all. you do such a great job with the ones you have! we’re all proud of you, and Cotton and Ruby are coming along so well too!

I have to say, I LOVE the little piccy you added of Ruby in all her finery with Cotton Boo in your signature. They sure look happy!

I feel your pain, BT. You just want them to go to a good home. Even if it’s not your own. But what fun if it could be, eh?
I know Fiver and Mimzy are not going to tolerate any other buns in my life. Pip is okay with it, but she doesn’t get a vote.

Never mind that the hubby would have reason to end my life then and there if I so much as looked at another bunny. 0_o But hey, it doesn’t stop me from looking!

I know what you mean too many.  Hubby said I can get it if I want. I have been wanting an angora however I have enuf with Ruby’s  hair right now. And i came home with it’s smell on me to see how Cotton would react. HE didnt’ look happy. I go to play with him and leave my $ at home.

I wonder if HB could use a friend. Then what happens when it grows up.  HELP…   No I am happy with the ones I have. I come home look at them and smile.  The 2 Cotton and Ruby are gettin on fine right now.  They shared shelf space however crowded in Cotton’s house today. I dont have room to put another. The 2nd would go right over the litterbox and they wouldn’t have good space to get in it. I dont’ want to mess up their litterbox habits.  They will just have to deal with 1 shelf.  Won’t be long now b4 I can let them have a sleepover. I am going slow with them tho. The humpies have stopped.

For the first time I saw Ruby groom Cotton.  Then she wanted grooms and Cotton turned and started grooming himself instead ahahaahha.  Smart boy.

No I don’t need another mouth to feed or hair to do. So he stays at the pet store the little bun does. Besides you never know how those buns will grow up to be.  HE could be a mix since he has hotot coloring.  hmmm. Well anyway not for me.

I have hope (however ridiculous it may be) that I can eventually get the three bunnies I have together. But I am leery of starting it, in case I can’t finish it. Mimzy and Pip never stopped using dominance behavior with each other and I have nowhere to put them all together all the time yet. Plus those charges Fiver took at Mimzy, he almost got him once. I am afraid he’ll do it again.

They all need their own special spot int eh house, seriously. I never thought I’d have to consider a “bunny room” in my house. ^_^

I need to clear out my house of lots of old stuff. Things that the kids had but don’t use anymore. We are terrible pack rats up here. I think a lot of folks at the Salvation Army could use second hand stuff.

We actually had a little dusting of snow today, but it didn’t stick. Winter makes me nervous. I have to sit around in the house and I don’t like going outside much in the cold. Good thing I have the bunnies, or I’d get terribly bored.
I can’t wait to see what Fiver thinks of snow. Once we get a good fall of it, I’ll get a bowl and go scoop some fresh, clean snow and put it in his pen and see what he does. ^_^ Mimzy loves it. Pip just looks at it and disapproves. xD

oh I got a new post coming about what I came home to last nite.

Mimz… you know what i’ve found when it comes to taking clutter out of the house? it actually clears your head more than anything. it’s so hard to let go of some things (esp. children’s items) but i think the freedom you get from having your house the way you need it makes it all worth it. just my 2 cents…

Beka that is so true. When I lived on University Apt. It was sooo crowded we had to walk sideways like crabs to get down the hall into the house and thru the living room.  Was sooo frustrating.  My son came to stay with me for a bit and he made fun of our arrangement by dragging his feet sideways ahahahaa.

So we took to removing some unneccessary furniture.  No more crabwalking.  I like that furniture too I hated to part with it. We were saving it for when we move into other housing.  But these are just roomy enuf to take the furniture I already have. So I would not have been able to place the furniture I got rid of in here anyway. ahhaa.

I think pack rat-ism must be deeply rooted in my psyche, Beka…
When I was about 9 my folks went into my room and trashed EVERYTHING. I got to keep my clothes, my bed, my desk and one plushie, Snoopy. Oh, and my baby blanket that my grandmother had given me which, surprisingly-lol, I still have. (It has two white bunnies sewn on the front, is that not kismet?) But they must’ve thrown out years of stuff I’d just stashed under the bed and in the closet. It was devastating, but I did feel better about having a clean room.

Honestly, I came to Alaska to simplify my life, not clutter it up. And I intend to live a Spartan life in my golden years. There simply cannot be that many uses to the junk we have lying around, as the hubby puts it, “I might need that for something someday.” Yah, right! He’s the one who writes important phone numbers on old newspapers and then gets mad when I throw it away because he “needed that.” *sigh*

Once the house is cleaned out, I want the yard to be pristine next….no more old car bones in the yard. Yeah, that’s going to happen. *steams*

lolz…BT…crab walking…I can just see it! No wonder you have back trouble, eh? You poor dear!
