Tommy is very particular about his bedtime routine. After the lights go out and we are in bed, he trots in to the room, bucking his ears around, tucks in his 2dogs, then goes to bed next to his dad’s side of the bed on his carpet (which has to be squared up). Last night I kissed him and told him it was bedtime and goodnight. Just as I had started to doze off, Tommy comes scrabbling/sliding into the room, under the bed, and proceeds to thump every 5 seconds for at least 10mim, even after I got out of bed to go check for spooky spookies and reassured him several times that nothing was in the house etc. I kissed his little head again, told him he was safe with mama, and as soon as my head was back on the pillow there’s the thumping again! Idk if he’s just figuring out how spoiled he can get or maybe an insect scared him? Loneliness? Any thoughts buddies? This morning Tommy has already spent a good 30min licking my hand, little buttkiss.
