Here is my idea for a NIC cube scratch pad. I’m sure it’s not a new/novel idea, but I wanted to post a pic of the final product. The first on I made had 7 weaves of sisal rope per column. This one has 8 weaves per column. I cut a few pieces 7 inches long, and tied them to the panel so the knot is underneath, and I poked the loose ends through, so the bunnies can have something to pull and tug at. Guin loves hers, so I made one for Lancelot (after he took out part of the carpet in protest for me not letting out of his bedroom while I went away overnight).

The NIC panel is 14×14, the sisal rope is 1/4 inch (100ft roll).

When I got sick of pulling this crazy long rope through the panel, I cut it off (did this about 4 times), tied a knot behind the panel, and continued. It uses most of the 100ft roll.

That’s pretty awesome-and creative! I haven’t seen anyone do that type of thing before!

I love this! I’m definitely going to make one. Hopefully the buns like it too
