So I keep the food and water bowls on a piece of newspaper on the floor, and Ben thinks it’s awesome fun to rip the newspaper up and eat it.

Will the newspaper do him any harm? The ink is soy based, if that helps.
Tearing it up keeps him occupied for ages, but I dunno about him eating it. I don’t want to take it away from him if it’s okay, because he has such fun, but I will if it’s gonna make him sick or anything.

        Thanks

As long as he isnt filling up on it and not eating his regular food or hay, it should be fine.

Great thanks. I fed him his veggies a couple hours ago and he’s been nibbling pellets and hay since then, so he isn’t filling up on it. Thanks again

Bunnies love to rip up newspaper. I’m sure he thinks you put it there for his fun 😉

Like MB said, it shouldn’t be a problem unless he fills up on paper and stops eating his hay.

Nope, not a problem. You might consider making a diggy box with newspaper. I have recently revived the diggy box and my buns are loving it! Only negative is that my lop’s paws have a gray tinge to them now, but no harm done.
