Hi! Two weeks ago (tomorrow) we had our 8month old lop neutered. He tolerated surgery well with no pre op concerns. Until today. I just had him out and noticed there are scabs on both testes. I haven’t noticed any licking of the area but he has been avidly humping things, which I thought was just something he had to get out of his system, but I’m wondering if that’s what’s causing the scabs.
I would like to avoid a vet visit if possible, but if this is a complication from surgery, I most certainly will schedule an appointment ASAP.

If the scabs don’t look irritated or “angry”, then I wouldn’t be overly concerned. It isn’t unusual for there to be scabbing after a neuter.
