  I got creative (aka bored) the other day and decided to make Lucy some new toys. I made some hay candies and this weird box thing. It’s a run of the mill cardboard box with hemp to lace off the hay end. I cut a “door” in the top of the box so I can keep replacing the hay as needed. She loves it, which is awesome because she hasn’t really expressed interest in any of the toys I’ve purchased for her lately I put some craft paper in there because it crinkles a ton, and she loves that sound. Definitely a success!

  Those hay candies are a great idea! I love them – I think I’ll see if I can make some. The hubby will get mad because every time I make hay toys the buns scatter the hay all over the cage, and he has the weekly Bunny-Cage-Vacuuming duties.
