New Rabbit littter training and problems

I’ve recently got a female lop she is 6 months old and I’m struggling to train her. we’ve also got a male Netherland dwarf as well who is now about 16 months old.

whenever I get miffy the female out she will start making buzzing noises at me and running around my feet, when I sit down she will rub herself against me and start nipping my leg also spraying and leaving little pee spots. she keeps moving her litter tray around her cage and keeps making nests. 

the 2 rabbits have met each other but I’ve not got them out at the same time as none of them have been neutered or spayed. the male smudge is obsessed by her and won’t leave her alone as soon as he out he keeps going up to her cage and stomping his paws, he won’t listen to us either now, I don’t want all of his training to go to s***, 

smudge the male is being neutered tomorrow so it should calm him down after a few weeks.

just really struggling as miffy was an outdoor rabbit before but now a house rabbit, I need some advice and how to train her properly as she’s older. I will eventually get her spayed but not got the money as of yet.

training smudge was fairly easy but miffy is so stubborn.

if anyone has got any advice or can help me out even if I could talk to someone on the phone to explain properly would be great.

The “buzzing” noise and the running in circles thing is a sign of her “mating period”. These times aren’t ideal to start the litter training. I have a female bunny for 2 weeks and when she got here she also had her “mating period” and she started dropping everywhere. And as soon as her hornyness was gone () she used the litterbox only, no poo anywhere else. (oh yeah, some accidents happen, so 1-2 drop/day might happen)

I think You should wait until she stops making that buzzing sound and start the training then. Watch where she drops/pees and place a litterbox there, if she uses multiple spots, place litterbox in every spot!

It can be difficult to fully litter box train a rabbit that hasn’t been spayed or neutered, so you might not have complete luck with that until after Miffy has been spayed, and a few weeks have passed.

Be aware that a neutered male can still impregnate a female for a month or even a little longer after his surgery, so don’t think you are safe and can let them get together yet. You really shouldn’t try to bond them until after Miffy’s spay surgery anyway. The first step in bonding is for both rabbits to be spayed or neutered. Otherwise, you will not be able to successfully bond them, and you risk fighting and injuries.

when I get her spayed will her calm her down, she keeps digging in her cage and litter tray, I let her out earlier in her playpen but just kept on trying to dig the floor and bite it, she’s so noisy whereas smudge is just chilled
