Hey, my new rabbit, Pancake, is 17 weeks old and he’s being with me a couple of days now. He’s a Netherlands dwarf breed and obviously quite unnerved at his new surroundings. He is eating his pellets and veggies fine, and his bowels seem okay too, but I have yet to see him drink properly yet or see a significant amount leave the water bottle.

I’m using a gravity bottle as it was what he had at the store so I figured he would be alright with it. I do have a ceramic bowl coming by delivery soon to use as his food bowl that I could try when it arrives. Any tips/advice?

What veggies are you feeding? He could be getting enough hydration from those and so doesn’t drink much from his bottle. I would check his bottle is working too just in case.

Love the name Pancake btw ?
