At night we put our bonded pair of rabbits into a pen(6ft×2ft), the pen also has a  dog crate attached for them where food and such is, just to avoid mess. They also for in and out of it during the day. It was a makeshift enclosure which has held up well for years. Unfortunately the pen is due for a replacement, and we have bought an actual hutch, 2 story, and almost the same size as the pen.

My main concern is if there is a proper way to introduce them to the hutch? They have had this same enclosure all there lives. I would love some insight

Rabbits are naturally curious, but also naturally cautious.

Could you somehow connect the new hutch to the old one for starters? It would allow them to explore the new place at their own leisure. You could put some stuff that has their scent on it in the new hutch. Like, you could perhaps rub a piece of fleece blanket over their furs and then put the piece of blanket in the new hutch.
