I just wanted to say hi to all the bunny moms and pops. I recently adopted my bun Coco who is 5 years old.

I find it very relaxing to sit and watch him run about and explore or even just find a good place to lay down and nap. He’s not really into toys to much, he’d rather a nice massage here and there. figures!

I was lucky to get him. It took me quite a while to find the right bun for me. I think anyone considering getting a bun should not rush and just take their time when searching.

Hi and welcome from me and my 3 buns: Stormy, Bindi Loo and Olivia.

Congrats on your new bun. What breed is he?

I also find bunny watching very relaxing. I especially love to watch them eat hay.

welcome here! congrats on your bunny. is this your first? if so, how did you decide on a rabbit as a pet? i thiink it’s wonderful you’ve adopted, esp. since the older ones tend to get overlooked. and the great news is, aside from the fact you’ve skipped over the “naughty bunny” age, is that with proper care and lots of love, he’ll be around for many years to come!

Thanks everyone! I actually do have a picture of him in my proflle. He’s a Holland Lop and he’s a beauty. I call him my bun/pup. lol

I’ve been trying to attach pictures to this but can’t seem to do so. Any suggestions?? The picture under my profile you can’t see very well

so I will continue to try to attach one. How is that you all have your bun pics under your name? I think my pictures are to big to attach. I got them off of my cell phone. Maybe I will have to use an actual camera. lol

an angora as a first bun wow thats  a big job      very smart to take your time to find the right bun for you. works  best that way the patience to look and think and ponder some more and visit them to see. this time around we did that and it is working great too.

glad to have you aboard. at first I had a time with pics getting on here too. I can’t explain how I finally did it and every time I go to do it again I have to refigure how it is done hehe

actually what I learned to do is copy and paste. that seem to work for me the best.

That’s a great picture in your profile. He has that look you get when you’re finally home and can really stretch out and relax. Ahhhhh.
I think it’s wonderful that you adopted a slightly older bun. Not as much interest in toys, just in life in general. Wishing you many wonderful years together.

Welcome to BinkyBunny mzmette, and thanks for adopting an older bun! They have trouble finding homes sometimes.

I can’t take any credit for what Coco does. He is his own little person. (smile) He comes over on his own to lay at my feet all the time. He is a sweety. It is obvious that the family who gave him up was good to him when they had him. He is very socialized.  I think we were all suprised as to why he did’nt get adopted right away but he did have a weepy eye and that could have been the reason. Since I took him home his eye has’nt weeped much at all. I do have medicine for him should it start again. Holland Lops and E. Angoras are my personal favorites. I actually used to dress my Angora up and take him to work (nursing home) for the residents. They really enjoyed seeing him and knew him by name. He would give kissed on command, would come when you called his name. He was my love. I really miss him and think about him often.
