My bun has grown out of her cat litter tray and keeps peeing over the edge of it and also starting to kick out all her litter which causes a big mess for me to clean up 2-3 times a day!! I’m thinking of getting her a deeper cat litter tray with rims but wondering if anyone had any other suggestions? 😀

I have to use a hooded litter tray as mine like to dig around. She can go in the door shuts and she can make all the mess she wants

For really big trays a large cat litter pan works great, or I like using dish-bussing trays! The bonus is they are really heavy so if you have a bun that tosses their litter box around it helps with that. Under-bed bins and boot trays can also be good to use.

For digging it helps to add a screen. Mine will dig the litter out no matter how deep the tray is without a screen (and if it’s too deep they are less encouraged to jump in).

Yes, a litter screen has been a lifesaver!

I went and got a litter box from the petshop. It is deep and has high sides too and she is digging and making all the mess she wants inside without it coming out,, so far so good 😁
