Hi Everyone!  I’ve made a few posts already, but let me introduce myself formally.  My name is Terry and my 16-year-old and I have gotten a bunny.  He’s a Holland Lop named Pongo, age 9 weeks now.  (You can see his pic on my Avatar).  We’ve had him only for a week.  We are BRAND NEW to the bunny world!

Anyhow, I have a couple of questions:  What are the little bunnies that appear under your name when you post something…what is the significance of the number of bunnies you have???  Also, what are the stars that I see by some postings?

Thanks for any info you can give me!

        Terry

Hello again to you and Pongo

The bunnies just indicate how long someone has been posting or how many posts they’ve made. I don’t know the exact science to the number of bunnies – but that is what it is correlated too. The stars are usually to highlight posts that might be especially interesting to all the members, or a particularly fun post, or things like that. Hope that answers your questions!!

Pongo looks like a lot of fun, I’ve always wanted a lop, I’ve got SEVEN bunnies almost all of them have those v shaped ears that aren’t really lop or straight, haha

Thank you, MooBunnay!!! That explains it well enough…

Thank you! I’m so happy to have found you all!

My 16-year-old daughter also joined last night. I’m going to share this site with my 25-year-old daughter who is the one who took Pongo’s brother “Gizmo”.

Welcome! It’s great to have new faces here and even new to bunny-world owners that is sooo awesome! Don’t be too shy to ask about anything either!

Welcome, Welcome!! I am so glad to hear you say that you AND your 16 year old daughter have this bunny. Since bunnies can live to be 10 years old, some parents are baffled when they are left taking care of their child’s bunny when their child goes off to college. Rabbits make wonderful “famliy” companions, and I am so glad he is yours too.
