Hello, I’m looking into maybe getting something better flooring for my rabbit’s indoor enclosure. His indoor cage is in the corner of my basement with a tall fence attached to the corners of the wall. Currently the floor is just concrete with some rugs placed on top. Sometimes it’s hard to clean the rugs if poo gets stuck to them. I was thinking about possibly getting some of those interlocking foam mats and covering the whole area with them. Has anyone had any experiences with theses? Any better ideas? Also I should add I can change the size of the fence so my sizing options are very flexible.

        Thanks in advance

I don’t have experience with foam mats. I personally use a piece of vinyl as flooring. It’s really easy to clean as I just vacuum it and then wipe it down with vinegar.

I use interlocking foam mats Personally I find them very useful but you’ll have to monitor and see if your bun chews/ingests it. Covering up the edges would help prevent chewing.
