okay.so i finally came up with a diet both buttons and I like. and i LOVE LOVE LOVE feeding my bunny. so i think i am going to keep it this way unless it is unhealthy.

        here it is:

1 tbsp oxbow bunny basics T (finally, no more 15/23)

big bowl of timothy, blue bunny mix hay.

tupperware thing full of kale, some carrot, carrot tops, romaine, butter lettuce, cilantro, mint, basil, red/green bell peppers and spinich.

i think he has been getting about 2 cups of veggies w/ his new diet.

yay! he’s so happy with all this yummy veggies!

That sounds like a good well rounded diet.

Is the big bowl of hay daily?

yup. he gets as much as he wants to keep everything moving along. although he doesn’t like hay a whole lot. he starves himself until he can’t stand it anymore, then he eats it. he usually waits till early morning hours. aww poo.

Maybe he has to many other options and that’s why he’d prefer not to eat the hay

Some of my rabbits love hay – some eat it but not as voraciously. I always give in to the buns though.

i try really hard not to give in and give him more food-especially after he’s eaten all those veggies /pellets! he throws these pleading eye looks at me and hopes i will give in. he figures hes got a 50/50 chance at getting more food. half the time it works.
