Hi everyone! I’ve been getting a lot of advice from this forum as I’m learning to care for my new bunny. His name is Calcifer, and we brought him home at the very end of March. He’s a lionhead and rex mix. I’m a bit obsessed, but look at this floofy face!!!

He likes cardboard, zooming, and pooping on my hubby. And trying to escape. Pics below!

Squee! Somebody pick me up, I just squee’d too much

Loving the name Calcifer! You should get him a cardboard castle to stick with the theme. Looking at that rambunctious look on his face, he’s sure to push it around and make it move ^_^

I’m glad someone gets the reference!!!

I gave him a small Amazon box with some hay in it this evening. He promptly flipped it over and made a mess, but it was adorable.

He is soooo floofy. And like 80% litter trained. He pees in the box, but there are poops everywhere.

Hehe, more people should know about studio Ghibli’s work. Their work is pure art!

Glad to hear that he at least pees in the box ^_^ The poops may be territorial. Litter habits may get worse when he enters puberty, and when that happens it’s important to get him to a bunny savvy vet for some snippy-snippy.

Males can get quite wild when their hormones get into full swing. Sadly this is also the reason many unprepared people let go of their buns Their cute baby has suddenly turned into a raging sex offender. Bunny puberty is definitely not the most pleasant time for both humans and buns.
