So I’ve had Baylor, a four month old Netherland dwarf, for 3 days and I am wondering how many poops is normal per day. He seems to have a lot, but that’s a good sign that he’s eating and his gut is healthy right? I’ll attach a pic of his litter box after 1 full day.

Yes, that looks fine! What litter are you using?

I was using shredded pine, but I went to the vet and learned that it’s not safe and can cause respiratory problems! I feel so bad! My poor bun! I just switched him over to pelleted recycled paper and he uses it fine. Thanks for the help!

Thanks so much! I just wanted to know what was the normal so that I could compare it with future stools. Bunnies poop way more than I thought in one day!

This is a very informative guide to bunny poops and what they mean: https://imgur.com/a/5N4lD
