        Hi people,

I am so happy with my bunny, he just turned 4 months old and already he is potty trained, pretty much. In his “bunny room” he only pees in his litter box area which has puppy pad covering it, and hay for him to munch on. He LOVES  2nd cut hay, he is happy and quite often he does these hilarious jumps and twists like he is trying out for cirque de sole! He is something! I keep his potty area very clean and I actually clean it daily by disposing of the puppy pad in his litter box and next to his litter box daily. I also sweep stray poops that fly away off his pad when he does his acrobatic binky jumps!

My question is this, if he is potty trained, and doesn’t pee pee on his blankets at all, how often do they need to be washed in the washing machine?

I don’t know how many square feet exactly, but bunny boy has basically a whole little room to himself plus a 2 level bunny hutch. Inside the bunny hutch is where I have blankets for him to snuggle. He sleeps in there quite often, but doesn’t pee there.  I want to be a good bunny mom and clean them as much as needed. Help! How often is needed?

I would say as often as you see fit. It might get just a bit more and more furry each week with specs of hay, and if a vigorous fanning outside doesn’t get rid of it, you can throw it in the wash. I do my rabbit’s blankets maybe once every 1-2 months if they didn’t get hit with anything?
