I have had my rabbit Ezmo for about 2 years now. I got him from a rabbit rescue center. He is a lovable and sweet boy. I’m not sure exactly how old he is…. but I think around 5. He has always loved the company of the other animals in my house so I wanted to get a second rabbit. I planned on getting around the same age because I know it makes the bonding process easier. I ended up with getting a baby bunny from a friend that no longer wanted it though. I just recently found out that it is a boy. He is about 2 months old. I have Ezmos rabbit condo in my room along with the new bunnys cage. He has been here for about a week now. I let them out at separate times, and haven’t had them meet in a neutral area yet. Ezmo has been going crazy though. He sits at the cage and wants attention from the new bun so bad. Also, one time when the new bun was out, Ezmo accidently got out for a second and automatically started to try to mount him. Is it going to be possible to bond these two? Any suggestions or tips to start when he isn’t neutered yet? I called the vet and they said I have to wait until he is 6 months….. so its going to be a while before he can get neutered. One last question, any tips for raising such a young bunny to make him good when he is older? Thank you!

It’s no use to start bonding before he is neutered. Once he gets his snip he will smell different and Ezmo wont recognize him.
I don’t know if there is a specific way to raise bunnies to make them “good.” they will be what they will be.
