Okay, I'll do that
She had a cage but I rearranged everything so that my dog's playpen is her new "cage" as the cage she came with was ridiculously small, so I have to lift the playpen for her to be able to get out. I switched my rat from the dog crate to the cage she came with and of course the dog will now be going in the crate when I'm out.
EDIT: I sat her in the middle of the room near a box i put together for her and watching her I think it's very possible she just didn't realize there was more to life than sitting in a box. It's all she got for over a year after all. She never did seem timid really, she's quite curious but for example she'll just go circles in the same little area or her litterbox.. So maybe she gets it now?
(so sad, I can't believe anyone would think it's okay for a bun her size to live in a cage smaller than my chihuahua's crate)
EDIT again: I just read on a bunny body language site someone gave me in another thread that lying stretched out with her legs behind her means she's super relaxed and she's doing that right now as well as the gazing thing so I think she's pretty cool with what's going on!
