 MarkBun.
MarkBun.As I mentioned elsewhere, a couple of female rabbits that were surrendered weren’t spayed in an appropriate timeframe and we now have two litters of bunnies. They’re finally old enough with their eyes open for pictures. As I hold them, I just want to put them in my pockets and my mouth – don’t ask me why. Guess they’re just so cute that I could literally eat them up. The ones with the airplane ears are especially cute.
We have two litters – which you can see more pics on by clicking on the photos below:
Chi-Ana’s Litter
Casey Moon’s Litter
Oh geez….adorable! Big litters too.
Markbun, your ‘PUT THEM IN YOUR MOUTH’ comment made me LOL! They’re so fuzzy, I would too!

I like the squished agouti one
AWWWWW! I love the pictures of all the bunny butts from behind. I actually have a friend who responds to anything adorable by saying “I WANNA PUT THEM IN MY MOUF!!” Needless to say, my bunnies have been threatened with being “eaten” multiple times
*grabby hands*
That’s a whole lot of adorable! Made my morning Hope they all find wonderful homes.

Squeeeeeee!!!! (Ok, Mark, spit it out NOW!)
Those pix are gorgeous. That is definitely stock photo material. Calendar pix for Spring.
*saves to computer for future fun*
They are now 3 weeks old and they’re over twice the size already.
*more grabby hands*
i looked at bunnies on the site and fell in love with mimosa d:
Mimosa is a very shy girl. She usually sits in her little wooden tunnel whenever I walk by. I think next time I’m over I’ll see how she is to hold, just to get your bunny nappin’ fingers twitching.

Awwwwww very cute! I wish i could just take them all home with me
Oh my word! I hope babies and mamas find fantastic homes!
So I checked out mimosa but only had a few minutes to hold her. She’s a very shy and timid creature but once I had her on my lap, she was quite content to be snuggled and held and petted. I even managed to get a tooth purr out of her. Unfortunately, I could only hold onto her for around 4 minutes and half of that was for a nail trim (which she took like a trooper).
She is very much the opposite of my bossy diva.
Oh, I’m sure that Chacha could teach her the way to be a proper bunny…
Uh….Mark….what’s that on your new avatar? I mean, what is that cartoon Maryann wearing on her face?

LOL Just read the whole post you linked to. Thanks!
(Special Ops. Don’t blow Maryann’s cover!)
Here’s some recent pics of the babies now. I’m always amazed how quick they grow up. Marcy says that for $100, you can reserve a bun and get them as soon as they’re healed from their alteration.

Ahhh! Cute!! Does the $100 include shipping to Texas?
Nope, but another hundred and I’ll fly them there for you.
Actually, looking at some of those silly helicopter ears, I feel like they could take to the sky themselves if you help out and pitch them at juuuust the right angle and velocity .
.
Some more pics of the babies during feeding time:

I also want to point out that my comment about Marcy taking $100 to reserve a baby was a joke.  Apparently charging more for one rabbit over another at a rescue is a huge No-No and being a dumb-butt I thought it was funny.
Oh, and because he was being such a nut – here’s a pic of Ash (you can click on the pic for more info about him).
I gasped big time seeing that last pic. He’s is way to cute! Hay rack can double as a hidey house for the nethies I suppose. :p
BRB, off to bunnynap Ash. And all the babies.
Mark, I checked out the link to Ash and look at these!!!!

*steals Ash*
Nutty Ash! So adorable. I love the naughty troublemakers the most.
I claimed him first Britt

Of course he would choose a male friend
Just as an fyi, Ash isn’t the type of bun that will sit in your lap for any real length of time and snuggle with you. He’s too curious about everything all of the time. He still likes being petted (on the ground) but he’s definitely a character.
However, some good news is that the following nethie guys got adopted during Easter Weekend – and not to impulse buying people either. As always, you can click on the pic to see more pics and stories about them:

Twyla and Tener
Jimmy Choo
And (un)fortunately, one of my favorites as well. Rizzo – a brown and white dutch that had all the same personality of Maryann without any of the world domination scheming (that I’m aware of that is)
Unfortunately, there is a bit of an emergency illness going on at Save A Bunny right now. We believe that with the large number of people coming in during the holiday time and handling all the rabbits, a bug was passed around rapidly. Nearly a dozen of the rabbits have the ‘sneezes’ with a few having some heavy rasping issues. Because they’re wall to wall with rabbits, it is hard for them to quarantine rabbits so we did some rearranging and some moving of buns from one section to the other to try and contain the issues. Thus far, no rabbit is on the ‘critical’ list if you will but time, money and meds are running a bit thin. Any sort of help would be appreciated. I’m currently pulling so many duties that I just want to put Marcy up for sainthood since I’m doing maybe 10% of what she does and I’m ready for a vacation

Bah! Rizzo has pretty coloring!
Thank you mark and for the work that you do for bunnies
I’m the one adopting the dwarf couple . Although SaveABunny has a GREAT photographer, I believe those two look much better in person.

Funny how I went there hoping to adopt the babies, or even the moms, and instead tossed and turned thinking about the couple. Can’t wait to go back for some more cuteness overload.
This is a bug passed from rabbit to rabbit (via the visitors)? Must be so hard to manage something like that. It wouldn’t be something environmental like from a new batch of hay or food? I hope they all come thru it ok.
Just made a donation to them.
Thanks Sarita.
Oh, and I wanted to point out that this isn’t an epidemic that is threatening all of the rabbits there. The few that are sick are sequestered nicely and those that are near them aren’t showing any signs of contagion. I just wanted to point that out so that anyone who may be visiting or thinking about it aren’t scared that they’re going to catch the black death for their own buns.

Afterall, I’m working on them and have no fear for mine – although Maryann shouldn’t count in this equation as she’s immune to all terrestial born viruses.

BTW, a little note for those that work at resuces. If you take a baby bun from a litter to snuggle for a while, make sure you remember what litter they came from.  Putting them back in the wrong one causes such an interesting reaction.
Yup, I’m a dolt.  But all buns are fine without any injury – just a whole lot of non-happy binky popcorning
