My new baby bunny keeps licking me all over and when she gets to my fingers she will start to nibble and slowly bite harder and harder if I don’t pull away or move them out of her reach. I heard that licking is a sign of affection but I am wondering if she is maybe just trying to suckle or get milk? And is there anything I should do about the biting/nibbling? I tried yelping or shouting and pulling away and waiting a few seconds before turning back around when she does it but that doesn’t seem to have any affect. The licking is cute though

Rabbits licking is often a sign of affection, sometimes a way of exploring and tasting something too. Baby bunnies especially are prone to nibbling fingers, they’re still trying to work out what you are and where the boundaries are. Rabbits teethe things to test what they are so it’s really normal. You are doing the right thing to discourage it, so keep it up and your bunny should soon learn not to do it

When Bramble was a baby he would nibble at us occasionally, most of the time he would just get our clothing but got each of us a few times on skin. We did the high pitched noise thing and put him down if we were holding him at the time. I don’t know specifically if that is what made the difference or if it was just a part of natural growing up, but by a few months old he had stopped and has never bitten since (although we do get occasional nose bumps!)

I think licking and nibbling is mainly a good thing! Like Azerane said, licking generally shows affection. Nibbling could be grooming, until it turns into hard biting- then you are right to pull your hands away. Clapping sharply can also work to discourage the biting.
