  I got a letter yesterday, had to wait for someone to read it today because its in small print.
  
  Its a letter from the council (Housing) about my flat (Apartment) It says that the dampness is caused in my home by keeping an indoor bunny and straw in the property, I’m furious, how can they say its my baby and his HAY not straw?
  
  This place is damp, I know what they will do, when we move they will fix everything and put someone else in after sorting out the mad crazy neighbour upstairs, I just know it, it also says to avoid condensation I have to keep my windows and door open day and night, of course I’ll do that living alone with Olly in a ground floor building, I’ll wake up to find I’ve been burgled, all the stray cats and stray dogs and a homeless guy on my sofa or worse asleep next to me.

  Well first of all damp unhealthy to humans, so they need to sort that out asap. Regarding your bunny, that is pretty dumb. Its just your classic “any reason to blame someone else” for there tight fisted habits. Unless they can PROVE that keeping an indoor rabbit causes damp then they cannot do a thing. Why not print out some articles about keeping indoor rabbits showing how almost everyone with a rabbit keeps them indoors, and how clean and safe they are. Post it to them along with a letter. My bunny is indoors and i have had no damp.

  That’s preposterous and defamatory. Not an expert but I think there might be grounds for a lawsuit if they keep pressing these idiotic requests.
  
  I mean, if you had like 20 rabbits then maybe… but one rabbit kept clean produces close to no dirt, opposite to dogs for example. Also if the apartment is found to be damp and have mold or other bad stuff, that’s the apartment building’s manager/owner’s fault!
