  I got my male Mini Lop who is just over 7 months old neutered 2 weeks ago. Before the surgery he was never overly naughty, just your usual and was very cuddly and acted like he was starving 24/7!! but just over a week ago he did a complete 180 on his behaviour and has turned VERY destructive and naughty. He has always had toys, a large area and got let out to the full house 3-4 hours ea day, but a week ago he started chewing everything non stop, digging, chewing the cage etc.! he has never been like this and he is destroying every new toy I try and give him with in days, he is also not acting so hungry all the time and wont run round the house at all binkying like he usually would when he is out, instead he will go straight to a wall or furniture and naw on it.
  
  Is this leftover hormones and will calm down, or is this something that has possibly altered his behaviour after the surgery permanently? I don’t know what to do and he is really hard to look after now, and I cant deal with him if this keeps up as it is actually ridiculous how destructive he is being. he used to be very cuddly and calm!

  What a nasty surprise! I know that rabbits go through puberty within their first year, and that they’ll become difficult to handle then. Young rabbits who’ve just outgrown the baby phase have tons of energy which they need to release. It’s hard to tell if it’s just residual hormones, temporary stress or a difficult puberty. My advice for now would be to restrain him to a smaller area which you can supervise and to provide a lot of safe destructible items. Monitor his behaviour closely, and try to work on your bond with him to help him calm down.
