  A few weeks ago Patch started nesting, she’s reached that age so I was expecting it to happen soon, which is why she’s booked in to be spayed next week. However since then she is nesting everyday! Every morning I come down to find her nesting with a mouth full of straw, then she gets bored and goes off to play. She’s not aggressive and every two days I remove the nest and she doesn’t mind. Is this normal rabbit behaviour? This has been going on for about three weeks now, she doesn’t always pull her fur out and I havent noticed any bald patches which is good, but surely she shouldn’t feel the need to nest everyday! Also there is no way she’s pregnant. Any advice would be great!
  
  P.S. She started nesting a few days after I started using straw in her house, could it be the straw that has caused a change in her behaviour?

  I’m really not experienced with this but if she’s due to be spayed, I would probably just leave the nest. Might cause her less stress. I know I’d be panicking if I was expecting and my bags weren’t packed!
