        Hi every one.
This is my first post, so please bare with me.
My female rabbit, (new Zealand white). Is 1 year old and an indoor rabbit.
I noted that This Morning she is nest building and is still at it. Now she is sitting in it.
What can I do to help/stop her. Please may someone let me know any thing I can do, or any links to look at. Thanks in advance. Xxx

If your rabbit hasn’t been in contact with other rabbits this last month or so, this is most likely a false pregnancy. It’s very common in intact female rabbits and it always resolves on its own. You can give her a nest box so she can make a proper nest for her non-babies, that can have a calming effect.

Girl buns should be spayed for health reasons. The have a high risk of uterine cancer when they reach 3-4 years of age. As long as a girl bun isn’t spayed, she can get recurring false pregnancies, and that’s not a sign of anything being wrong.

Thank you so much for your reply.
My son has asked if a teddy would help, as she is on her own. As we brought her back from death’s door. I will give her more bedding and a nest box .
            Thanks again. Xxx
