I seriously need some new toys fir my buns. I have 3 growing baby bunnies, that need fun stuff, and a pair of trouble making buns, and the mommy bun! They have PLEANTY of other toys, but i never want to see them boerd. They can’t have free range at the moment, so i have 2 gaint x-pens set up for the pair, and one gaint one for the mom and babys. They get out for play time when I’m in the room – its an basment, office, – so I’m there all the time. I need some new things for them to chew, jump on, hid in, ect.!!! They dont chew those dumb “kabobs” at all. They will only chew willow. Know anywhere that sells willow/branches/balls cheap? I NEED SUGGESTIONS :.

OH, AND , the baby bunnies, i heard they chew a lot! Any suggestions for them? I was going to buy those softwood chew they have here, good idea?

          Welcome!
Walmart sells willowballs I believe. Most pet stores do as well, I think BB does too?
How old are your bunnies? Sounds like you have 5? Thats a lot!

Cement forms from the hardware store make for great cheap tunnels. Cardboard boxes with holes cut for and entrance and exit are fun, toilet paper rolls stuffed with hay, I recently read this fun one about making a box out of a sheet of paper (tape free!) and tucking a treat in there. Grass mats are a hit, the mini haven here on BB is awesome too. I tuck my buns pellets in a slimcats treat ball to make dinner time last a little longer and be a little more fun.

          This thread needs pics, btw!

There are lots of craft stores that sell willow baskets and stuff, you just have to be completely sure that they are untreated.
I really like the Cottontail Cottage and the Maze Haven from the BB store. Have you tried laying a phone book open on the floor?

Yeah, I have tired the phone book, Snickers insist on eating it, like hay. SO no more Phone book …! I can try and take some pics, but the darn babys WONT SIT STILL! The run and binkey all day and knock out at night. Right now, they are chewing everything, and until I noticed today, my new ugg boots i got for christmas >.<. There fav toy is the "Nutt Knot Nibbler" From which i removed the nuts. There mom doesn't chew much, so i give her a willow basket from Michal's once a month, and use it as her hay rack. And the 2 trouble makers are starting to chew more, hence the thread! And i Would totes add pics, but i dont know how xD

Wallmart sells Willow balls? In the small pets section? I don’t shop for my pets there ever, so I will check!

Ipod the mom is 1 year
Snickers Ipod’s sister is 1 year
Charlie the Teen dad is about 11 months
Sleepy, Chub Chub, and Moo Moo are all 1 Month old on Monday!

And yes, I have 6 bunnies atm. My little “girl” bunny turned out to be a BOY. Luckily, I realized upon the first meeting session, and took him to get nueterd soon enough to only impregnate my 1 bunny. She only had 3 babies, in which 2 found new homes already, and will leave my house at nine weeks ( SO SAD ). I am keeping one that my mom LOVES. And I’m fine with that..

I sometimes buy soft wood bird toys (Yucca), boil them in allpe  juice and dry them in the oven for an hour at 200 degree F. you can string them together or give them as single pieces. My bunny loves it.

If you have “old” chew toys they did not touch – try the apple juice option. works wonders and it is safe.
