Edited to say: I think WE are now getting one so we better get names for our one first !!! LOL
So any name ideas for Boston’s possible sister ??
She’s a smutty sable point ( sable on the points and greyish everywhere else ) baby doe
What about chestnut or hazelnut (hazel for short). Something like that would cute for a chocolate looking sable point! Mocha would be nice too!
Hazel and mocha are out due to family members pets
So far my list is :
Brooklyn ( as in Brooklyn blackout cake )
Ashby too – for the colour
Willow
London ( as in London bun as Boston is after a Boston bun )
Aspen
Milo – just because I have always liked the name , I know it’s common but it kinda suits with the brownish points and brownish grey body colour after the Milo drink
But I don’t feel like I’ve got the right one on that list so any ideas would be great to hear
Unless I chicken out as my last bonding experience did put me off haha!
Be great if I got it easy this time round after how hard that was on us and bunnies …
I added to my possible name list too :
Binky
Binky boo
Brylee ( means meadow )
I like Milo I think it’s cute.
If mocha is taken you can name her Latte. Or Cappucino … Cino for short. Sprocket was going to be Nismo or Sprocket. Sprocket won… Lol you are welcome to use Nismo if that’s something you like.
-nutmeg
– cheerio
-TrixMix
A new baby…so exciting!
I had thought of Nutmeg also. It’s cute!
Also:
Caraway
Anniseed or Anise
Pepper
Chai
Masala
Tahini
Soba (noodle)
Cremini (mushroom)
Chelsea (bakery bun)
Penny (bun, penny loaf but also a mushroom)
Rewena (Maori name for grey brown bread)
Isabella (blue and fawn colouration)
Binky would be very cute to go with Boston. Didn’t we already establish another time that it is also a type of bun?
Honestly, I want someone to name their rabbit after bread if he or she is bread colored…. Like chia for ciabatta, or biscuit. Then it’s a true bunny loaf. Getty for baguette for example… Haha.

Wick, your post reminded me of another Id thought of – Biscotti ! And Muffin !
Honestly, I want someone to name their rabbit after bread if he or she is bread colored
And if the rabbit turned out to be moody or grumpy, you could call her Sour Dough. ![]()
Well, what’s Boston without a Bean crock? Beanie. Or Crock.
Or Pie. Everyone loves pie. Then you could have Boston/Cream Pie.
What about theses: Paris, Miss Gigi, Georgia, Savannah, Aurora,
I like cocoa!
Boston & Cocoa
If you do attempt another bond, good luck!
What? I’m confused, I didn’t see the original post…Boston is maybe getting a sister or is definitely getting a sister? So exciting! I like Cremini or Willow
.
Wick & JG – LOL!
Luna: Was a maybe and now it’s a yes!
Jersey : you worked out a binky is a biscuit brand over here
Wick and blade smith : Boston is named after a Boston bun ( which is a bun with coconut icing in nz and au )
Hmm I’m still not sold on a name – maybe I don’t like food names hahha ! I thought I did but I’m thinking I more like food names that are also human names … ie Boston bun , London bun and penny bun , Brooklyn blackout cake ….that sort of thing.
I do love Willow and Binky though …
What about unisex names for a girl?
Cause I love Cody and Koby but both are out as I’ve used before what others can you guys think of?
Marley
Shae
Cory ( again it’s out this one)
But you get the idea… what you got?
Jut spoke with other half and if we spelt it Shea it could be Shea butter so it would Boston Bun and Shea Butter…
That’s in the running
Boston Bun and Binky Biscuit ( thanks jersey !) is in the running
My youngest me nickname is biscuit though so that puts me off a little
I just went and meet her , she isn’t sable point as she has no brown colouring , she is light grey all over with dark blueish grey points and grey eyes
I think she is either smoke pearl or blue point but a shaded body one ( where as Boston has a cream body )
take a peek at profile pic
Mona! Definitely Mona!
Definetly …. not Mona lol!!
Someone isn’t a Dirk Gently fan…
Hahha nope not here
LOL, well I think Mona (after the character) is a good name.
Well, I guess there’s always Pigeon. Hehehe!
Hahah I think YOU need to get a pigeon bunny , you know you won’t be satisfied till you do ![]()
What about a blue-related name then?
Do you have some to suggest? I could only come up with colour names ( azure sapphire ) or river
Bluebell
Violet
Sky/Skye
Odeta
Button (as in Bachelor Button)
Indigo
Iris
Ash
I like bluebell from that list and we discussed that one here but our son goes horse riding on a horse called Bell weekly and he will find it confusing
Ash is cute too but I thought maybe Ashby to soften it a little – other half didn’t like it though haha
I suggested Tali too which means snow angel and I really like that for her but again not other half
So our list now has :
Willow
Remy
Milo ( too common for me but kids want it)
Marley
Binky
Leaning Remy from the list but still not sold… girls are so much harder to name
thinking WAY in advance here but i do have logical reasons for it haha
bonded pairs and hideaways – i get they need one big enough for both, but can they have some that only one git in at a time? or will that risk fights if they feel cornered??
i need to get baby girl a hideaway and just wondering if i should hold off and just use boxes as they wont be ablet o use them when together later
i also dont want Bostons to be wasted as it took ages to fond one he likes as its see through ( he hates hideaways because of his vision issues )
heres his one
As long as it has more than one entrance it should be okay. No way one bun could feel cornered then.
It only has one , where his head is ^
It’s the only hideaway Boston will use
I vote for Lilo. ![]()
What about Caramel? Cara or Mel for short ![]()
I absolutely love the name Mona! Here’s also a list I came up with…
Callista
Christal
Torra
Luna
Maura
Sienna
Skye
Ardala
Aurora
Melody
Paisely
Celeste
I’m just crazy with these names! =3
Interesting you should talk about see-through hideaways. Fernando doesn’t use hidey boxes that much (he finds it a lot more fun to drag around and chew on the boxes placed on their condo’s upper deck), and I wonder if that may be in part because he’s an albino. Albino buns both find very bright light uncomfortable and don’t see too well in darkness. I wonder if there’s such a thing as bun sunglasses? That being said, I’ll hve to look at those see-through thingies; he’s a small bunny so one that’s big enough for him to fit into shouldn’t be that difficult to find. Finding one with more than one entrance, though…?
