So we woke up yesterday morning to the pellets spilled all over the kitchen floor and Chubs just chowing down. I still can’t figure out how he got them down…but anyways he ate pellets to his heart’s content yesterday! Little booger. I don’t think it hurt him any, he still ate his veggies later in the day and ate quite a lot of hay over night (which is when he usually eats the most hay) and his poops are all fine and everything. I’m a little worried he’s going to have gained some weight from that little escapade but just once? Hopefully not!

He’s also just been so naughty in general this week! He got into his litter, like the bag of clean stuff, and tore holes in the bag and strew the litter all over the kitchen. No real harm done but naughty! Then yesterday I walked out here carrying a bag of corn chips I’d been eating with dip and he stood up on his hind feet. I thought it was cute and started talking to him and then he ripped the chips bag out of my hand and spilled them all over the floor! lol I don’t know what his deal is. He’s been getting tons of attention and what not. Kind of funny, his antics, but my goodness!

Jenna, you really made me LOL with the corn chips, sorry! Maybe Chubs is going through the teenage stage? I hope he outgrows it for you!

Haha it made me laugh too, even as I scolded him. He’s about 1 1/2 now so he should be past that stage. I think he is just being a pain in the butt because I had to trim his nails and stuff on Friday. Little brat, lol. I can’t even stay mad at him long enough to scold him…it’s too entertaining.

That’s so funny. Terrible twos? I can just imagine the look of innocence finding him in the kitchen with all his pellets. “What? I was hungry!”

aww, it’s probably the terrible twos then! They are lil turkeys though (my boyfriend always corrects me and say’s hunny, they are not turkeys lol) I can’t stay upset too long because I usually laugh about what they did. I am a pushover though! Yeah I bet the look on his face was priceless..funny bunny!

I am going to hopefully get a video to post on here in the forums about Cottons little antic the other nite.

Yes Chubs  you have been a naughty bunny.   True it is so hard to stay mad at them.

Haha no kidding! I have to add that he somehow got into the bag of hay yesterday (even though he has a full hay net himself already!) and tore a hole in the bag and had it strewn all over the floor, and was just sitting there munching contentedly when I caught him. He seems to have no regard for my scolding either! He either sits there and looks at me (all cute) like yeah yeah yeah…or he runs away and stomps his foot at me, like I’m the one who did something wrong! Such a little brat He also got into the litter again and made a mess with that! Clearly I need to move my supplies elsewhere though i still can’t figure out how he’s getting into them…they seem to high up for him to get to, but clearly I am wrong about that. Haha. He’s also been pouting since I’ve given him a half portion of pellets the past 2 days- since his little chow down the other morning. Yesterday he gobbled them up and then attempted to get at Comet’s pellets through the gate! You would think he’s never fed or given any attention by the way he acts! lol

Oh yeah and I think the hay thing is because he wants all the best pieces. he had too have dug through the bag a little to make the mess that he did! And might I also add that Comet has been witness to all of these mischevious endeavors and has been a little angel. (Knock on wood) Maybe he can teach Chubs some manners, if they could get along again….(although i feel bad complaining too much. Chubs really is a good boy usually!)

I actually just got this fabric covered ottoman thing from walmart on sale ($19 I think?)…it makes it easy for Marlee to jump on and off my bed and also has a lot of room for storage on the inside. I have all her food, hay, and treats in it. Plus it matches my room pretty nicely

That’s a great idea Kiley, the only thing is that I will be moving very shortly. I graduate in December and will hopefully be moving to somewhere where I’m getting offered a job?! So I’m trying not to buy stuff that I would want to take with! I’m applying everywhere and if it’s out of town, I’m pretty much selling all my stuff! I will keep in mind for my new place though!

Ohh, I see. Well congrats on graduating in Dec (I wish I would’ve just taken the two extra classes so I didn’t have to wait til May!) and good luck finding a job!
