Hi everyone!  Bear desperately needs a nail trim and I desperately need help.  He hates being picked up and handled, but I’m willing to do anything.  I don’t want to put him in a trance, I have a feeling he would NOT accept me trying to roll him on his back, there’s also bunny burrito, as well as other methods I’ve seen on youtube.  I was just wondering what your opinions are/what works for your bunny (or bunnies).  Thanks!

Good for you for refusing to put him in a trance. Its just sick. If he won’t let you roll him over, try sitting him upright on his butt and clipping the nails that way. Most rabbits are more willing to do that than than lay on their backs. You could also set him on a towel and clip the nails by gently pulling the foot out from under him and clipping as many nails as he will let you before he moves. Panda and Maisy make me do this; it takes forever, but is safe and effective.
