  Long time no talk! Benji and Beyoncé are doing great anyhoo the bunnies were out running and I was painting my nails and Benjamin decided to jump up on the couch, I didn’t think much of it, but when he decided to hop onto the table that’s when I knew something was up, I let him sniff around to figure out what he was after, when he got to my nail polish he started going crazy! Of course I put back on the floor because nail polish cannot be a good thing for him to smell. When I finished I went to give a bunnies a treat before I put them away, but he went for my nails and he has never done that before! Does anyone else’s bunnies like the small of nail polish? Just thought I’d share this funny little thing I found out about Benjamin haha.

  Haha I usually shut my rabbits out of my room for an hour or two when I paint my nails so that the smell can dissipate. I don’t think it’d be good for them to be inhaling the fumes!
  
  Buttercup is quite used to me having my nails painted so she doesn’t really react anymore but the first time she was so confused. She was going crazy sniffing my nails and trying to eat them ? I tried to trick her by just turning my hand over so she couldn’t see them but she was relentless lol. I guess she thought they were treats I was hiding?! I dunno lol.

  Nail polish often has ethyl acetate as a solvent, and you can also find this in extremely ripe fruit. I suppose that’s very interesting to rabbits: Breintje likes his bananas best when they’re nearly brown and fermenting. He also likes the scent of beer and cocktails. When Bas was drinking a banana daiquiri Breintje went totally bonkers. Many animals like a buzz and nearly all of them will snack on overripe fruit, from crows to elephants.
