  I painted my nails for the first time in a while today, and i went to play with the buns while they were still a little soft.
  
  Well, I’ve discovered that my buns LOVE the smell of nail polish. They were both all over my fingers, licking, sniffing and biting! It’s like my fingers are covered in banana. The young white one is still shy and she was following me around. Anybody else’s buns like nail polish?

  That’s surprising since it has a strong smell.
  I actually would discourage them from tasting it. It is not at all good for them to ingest, humans either for that matter, and I wouldn’t want them to get sick from it.
  
  You could give them a real slice of banana just to distract them.

  lol, oh i know. they liked the smell so much they were biting my fingers. ^.^ i wasn’t going to let them bite it, plus then they’d ruin my nails! :-O

  Hmm – thats weird! My bunnies don’t like any strong smells on my hands. If I try to pet them after I have been cooking with something strong smelling, like garlic, they will thump at me and run away.

  My bun got so mad at me when I clean the kitchen or bathroom, she hates the smell of cleaning stuff. Too bad I can’t just not do it :p
