So I was inspecting Lolli’s nails last night.  Again.  Cause they just seem too long.  But from what I could tell from contorting her nails and flashlight, I’m pretty sure her quick is right close to the tips.

I have a question about the squeeze, squeeze and clip method.   Do they flinch when you get near the quick?   I tried doing this to her and on some nails, she was fine.  On others, she flinched.  So I couldn’t tell if she was just flinching cause she wanted to be done or what.

Yes, that’s the whole idea – a little pressure on the nails to see if you are near the quick. I think when in doubt don’t cut :~)

Ok. Lolli is notorious for flinching even when I know i’m not even near the quick. It’s her way of fighting instead of full on battle. lol And I didn’t clip very many.
