  The Chicago HRS posted about this with a link on their facebook page. It apparently helps with arthritis. I thought I’d share the link as apparently several bunnies on here suffer from arthritis. This information is from the bunspace site:
  
  Myristol has been specially formulated as a broad-spectrum and effective supplement to support joint health. It comes in a highly palatable, molasses free alfalfa-based pellet.
  
  Feed one to two pellets twice daily. Keep in mind when using supplements that they do not have an immediate effect. It generally takes approximately 4 weeks of continued use before any results can be seen.
  
  Myristol combines four top-quality ingredients: cetyl myristoleate fatty acid complex, methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), glucosamine HCl, and hydrolyzed collagen. All of these ingredients have scientific evidence of benefit in animal or human studies, and they were combined in Myristol to provide a comprehensive or broad-spectrum approach to joint health and joint disease.

  I just ordered a bag of these from bunspace.com. I was surprised to find them available at their store! I have been reading up on them for awhile now. I had ordered some human cosamin to use on him as directed by my vet, but I think these may actually be easier for him to process than the human cosamin. I will take them and the literature on them to my vet and if she okays them, I’ll be using them to help Mimzy with his hip pain.
  I’ll do my best to document any changes I see and how he does on them for everyone’s information here.

  Beka, I think these are just a supplement – one to two per day not a free feed pellet.

  Reading further it has beef tallow and porcine skin (pig skin). So it’s not vegetarian either.

  Yeah, I didn’t post anything from their website because they didn’t have a listing for rabbits. I guess Mimz will be our tester! LOL
