Well he weighs 10lbs at the moment. His Grandad weighs 30lbs so he has a long way to go yet.

                Here is his Grandad.

Welcome Stanleysmom!!!!   OH WOW!!! He’s gorgeous!  I absolutely love, love, love big bunnies.

So what’s he like?  What are his characteristics?

He’s ONLY 10 pounds?   My bunny is 8.5 pounds, and he is soooooo much smaller than yours.

He looks more like 17 pounds.

Oh…I had to shrink your pictures down a bit so it didn’t resize the webpage.

Thanks so much for sharing.  What an adorable family.

He’s such a gentle guy and very friendly. A bit too friendly recently so I’ve had him fixed. He loves attention 24/7. He doesnt chew anything and is totally litter trained. And yes his poos are huge. He likes to be cuddled most of the time. He can be a pain though. He sneaks upstairs when he thinks no one is looking and then stamps his feet like a stroppy teenager when I tell him to get down.

My son also has 3 bunnies. He found 2 of them on the street when a woman threw them out. The female was pregnant so 2 weeks later she had 7 babies. The Dad has been fixed and the babies are now 8 weeks old. He is keeping 1 of the babies. I have converted an 8′ X 6′ shed that my sister was taking to the tip for them and attached it to a huge run. As we got the byns unexpectedly we didn’t have any hutches so we managed to scrounge 2 temp ones. This is what they had to live in at first.

Now they had a palace for the grand total of £48.

OH what big hearts your family has and kudos to your son for rescuing those bunnies. WOW, what an irresponsible woman that was to just throw her bunnies out. But then my faith in people returns when I meet families like yours.

A bit too friendly? I remember when Frankie would try to hump my wrist or something when he was a tiny unneutered bun! I can only imagine if he was a giant breed… that would be a bit messy :\

Welcome Stanley’s mom! Oh what a cute adorable huggable lug of fur! I ADORE big bunnies! I’ve seen Flemish Giants, but he’s even bigger than that! I second the huge hearts you and your family have, thank you for saving those bunnies whose fate might not have been so happy if your son hadn’t of intervened!
