This is probably stupid, but I figured, why not. Her ears feel hot, not like, burning hot, but warmer than the rest of her. She’s otherwise fine. I just don’t know if it’s something I should be worried about.

Rabbits cool themselves through their ears, so their ears tend to be warm to the touch.

Rabbits ears get cooler or warmer depending on the warmth of the room, etc. As long as the room is an ok temp and she is otherwise acting fine, don’t worry about it.

If they’re cold, they withdraw blood from the ears to keep warm. If they’re hot, they send blood to the ears to have the blood cooled, that’s actually the main function of their very big outer ears. (All of this of course happens spontaneously, not by force of will).

I love petting my bunnies’ ears, they are so warm and silky and the bunnies actually seem to enjoy being pet there, which is so different from my dog who squeals if you so much as look at her ears =)
