today i checked on my rabbit and he was stuck sitting in the same spot staring the wall. i gave him his daily grass and water but he didn’t eat as much as he used to. i picked him up and put him somewhere else and he was having trouble walking around. he kept flopping over to the side and eventually i gave up on putting him back on his feet and let him lay down. my last attempt was to giving him a strawberry but even that he wouldn’t eat. I can’t take him to the vet cause my mom thinks it’s too expensive and even then all vets are probably closed anyway due to the pandemic. i dont know what to do. hes just laying by the wall and keeps pushing himself closer to it. is there anything i can do?

Your bun is ill and the fact that he cant stand up makes this a very serious thing. He does need a vet. He’s probably cold now, so you need to warm him up. You can put a warm water bottle in a towel near him, but he must be able to move away from it if he gets too warm. Is he still all wobbly and floppy?

When did he last eat something?

Agree with Bam, this sounds like an emergency situation, and most vets are taking emergency visits in the US (not sure where you are though).

Are you in an RHDV outbreak area? Info here: https://rabbit.org/articles/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/hrs_rhdv_v5.pdf

Vets will take emergency cases. This is an emergency, please take him immediately! Because they’re prey animals, rabbits will hide illness for as long as they are able. If he’s this bad, it’s highly likely he won’t survive without vet care.
