Hello! My bunny loves to lick and groom me. When I nap with her or pet her for a long time she’ll start chirping or oinking then follow up with licking me just as long. For some reason though she starts digging at my eyebrows too. She digs at my eyebrows, licks and digs at my hair, and nibbles my eyelashes. Seems like whenever she gets in contact with some sort of hair she’ll start digging at my face. It’s really cute but, It hurts xD. She only does it to me though, not my mom or brother. What’s that about? Is she just grooming me or something? My family says she likes me better than them and treats me differently but I’m not sure lol. She’ll only chirp and oink with me too. But she licks them just as frequently.

She’s trying to groom your fur. When rabbits or any other furry animal groom, they pick up and tug fur to get rid of dirt. Yes, doing that on eyelashes is painful, haha. It’s nothing bad, but I’d just shift or move so she doesn’t try to groom your face hair. Give her a patch of skin to lick instead.

Yep, she’s grooming you If she is too “enthusiastic” you can try to groom her head in response to make her stop or change position.
Mine sometimes grooms my eyebrows and head. He’s never been too harsh on my brows, but he is hard on my hair. He’s like “what animal are you with this silly fur??” ahahah

Ohh ok! Haha thats good then! It kinda feels good on my head especially when I’m itchy lol! I make a squeak when she tries to dig into my face so she knows it hurts me.I knew licking was for grooming but I wasn’t sure if digging was. Thank you!
