It is with deep sadness I write to you this morning. My baby and friend Oreo has passed in the night. I was down with my Oreo yesterday everything was fine watering and such there is poo all over the little stinker. I went down this morning to see my baby and here Oreo is layin beside the litter box. I just dont understand everything seemed fine yesterday.

The only thing that was a little surprisin was the fact that Oreo was peeing more outside the box but I figured that Oreo did not like the litter anymore or was jsut gettin older and changed the carpets more.

I am just so sad by this I could not even more Oreo I had to get out of the house I know thats wrong but I couldnt deal with it I am really upset and hope that my little baby will always know how much I loved the sweet little bunny faces he made.

I got Oreo from a shelter 3 years ago roughly and he was estimated at 4 or 5 years old but was found outside so who really knows how old but still not the point.

Hugs to you. I don’t know what to tell you other than offer my condolences. I’ve had this happen to me before with one of my rabbits and I was distraught as well so I know how you feel.

So when we all got home from work we baried our beloved Oreo in our backyard. I wrapped him in my sons old tshirt so a part of him goes with him and holds him dear. We barried his special toys also with him. We sent my son to my aunts as I knew he would honestly get upset and try to dig him up. When I explained to him what happened he cried and said he wanted his bunny back. My son is not yet three poor little guy.

                I’m so sorry about Oreo.

You were wonderful to rescue a mature bunny, and gave him such love for the rest of his life.
